Kate`s business experience is mainly connected with ICT (Information & Communication Technology). She worked for CASE Communications as one of their first female salespeople in the mid 80`s, then moved onto BT where she was firstly product manager for data networking systems, then running the 12 person product management team group, before being moved onto the BT fast track program and selected to be executive assistant to one of their senior divisional Presidents. Before this and after leaving Loughborough University with a degree in Social Policy, Kate was a trainee manager at Sainsbury`s, a manager at Ryder Truck rental and helped set up Wolverhampton Speedway. After taking a short children break, she ran her own marketing and communications company (which is where the name zapfactory came from), which operated in Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. She was on the board of Zürich International School for 5 years and worked in executive search for Borderless, out of Brussels.
Kate is managing the property side of zapfactory and also does most of the market research, brand definition and copy (web and print).
Kate is from Yorkshire, UK and also holds a Swiss passport.
